What’s the best way for me to contact you with a new order or an order change? Whichever of the following ways is most convenient for you:
Yes. Most of our customers find a size of Box that works for their situation and set up a weekly or every other week delivery. Please feel free to call with add-ons.
The boxes are not based on weight, but on the retail value of the items on the menu that particular week, and the weight will vary with the items in the box. I regularly check our prices against the local stores and we are usually 10 -15 % cheaper than the retail store. TOPIf your order is greater than $22 there is no delivery fee. A fee of $3.50 is included on orders below $22.
No. The price listed on your bill is the total price; no additional tax is added. TOPCan I substitute certain items in the box with something else? Yes you may substitute items in your box; We recognize that not everyone likes everything so we do design our menus around more of the common produce items. We also offer extra items for sale that you can add to complement your delivery. TOPHow can I know what is being delivered in advance of our delivery day? Friday mornings we update our website with the menu of each box for the following week. NOTE: Please remember that the items are subject to change due to quantity or quality issues.
What do you deliver in the winter months? Our focus is always local first. When local produce is unavailable we purchase organic produce from trusted suppliers. TOPDo you sell produce at your farm? Presently, we do not have a retail outlet on our farm. We have chosen to focus our efforts on home delivery. You are welcome to come by and visit, but we have no established hours. Please call in advance and see if we are available. TOPIs everything in the box certified organic? Everything in the box is certified organic unless otherwise noted. TOPAre you a Certified Organic Farm? In 2002 we decided to not recertify our farm as organic. It was a hard decision for us, but after talking with our customers it become obvious that they wanted to support local farmers and healthy food. At any point in the future we would be able to fill out the USDA Organic paperwork and pay the fees and recertify our farm. Our farm is currently certified a Salmon Safe Farm with Stewardship Partners. The fruits and vegetables from our farm are grown in a manner consistent with our belief that Healthy Food comes from Healthy Soils. Therefore we do not use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers on our fields. When we provide produce from our farm in the boxes we use the Local Salmon Safe label. TOPWhat do you grow on your farm? On our farm we raise potatoes, spinach, carrots, lettuce, broccoli, onions, beets, winter squash, green beans, cucumbers, cabbage, sugar snap peas, strawberries and a few other vegetables. We also raise grass fed beef, honey bees, and hay. |
